Gem Transitional 1859 Indian Cent, Judd-228

1859 P1C Indian Cent, Judd-228, Pollock-272, Snow-PT4, R.1, MS65 PCGS. The popular transitional Indian cent pattern that displays the shield reverse of 1859. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. A satiny and virtually unabraded Gem with only inconsequential carbon. The strike is good despite trivial incompleteness on the upper portion of the shield. Certified in a green label holder.

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
