    Description

    1859 P50C Half Dollar, Judd-237, Pollock-293, R.4, PR53 PCGS. The obverse depicts the so-called "French Head of Liberty" motif, a classical bust with LIBERTY on a banner beneath the truncation. The reverse displays a cereal wreath similar to that seen on 1860 and later Seated dimes. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Light golden-brown and sky-blue visit this lightly circulated specimen.
