    Description

    1859 P50C Half Dollar, Judd-241, Pollock-297, R.4, PR58 PCGS. The Longacre Liberty Head design for the Half Dollar, also known as "French Head of Liberty," paired with a reverse that has 50 CENTS surrounded by a cereal wreath. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. The mirrored surfaces are dulled by an overlay of russet toning and the fields display light marks consistent with the grade. The strike is bold, and the highpoints have little, if any, actual wear.
