Popular 1859 Longacre-Designed Half Dollar
Judd-241, PR63

1859 P50C Half Dollar, Judd-241, Pollock-297, R.4, PR63 NGC. The Longacre Liberty Head design for the half dollar, also known as "French Head of Liberty." The reverse has 50 CENTS surrounded by a cereal wreath. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. The obverse is generally untoned with light patina over the reverse. A few light hairlines and small contact marks explain the grade.
