    1862 Ten Dollar Pattern in Copper, Judd-297

    1862 $10 Ten Dollar, Judd-297, Pollock-355, 356, Low R.6, PR65 Brown PCGS. The obverse is of the regular eagle dies for 1862. The reverse is similar to the regular dies design with the addition of the motto GOD OUR TRUST on a scroll above the eagle. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This is a glossy mahogany-brown specimen that can be identified by a nearly straight lintmark between star 1 and the date. (#60447)
