    GOD OUR TRUST 1862 Half Dollar, Judd-295, PR63

    1862 50C Half Dollar, Judd-295, Pollock-353, R.5, PR63 NGC. The obverse is the regular issue design for the 1862 Seated Liberty half dollar. The reverse is similar to the regular issue design with the motto GOD OUR TRUST in the field above the eagle. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. It is believed that about 25 sets were struck with this design variant. Fully struck, the brilliant surfaces are slightly hazy and lightly hairlined.
