    1863 1C One Cent, Judd-299, Pollock-359, R.3, PR64 Red and Brown NGC. Snow-PT1. Medal alignment. From regular issue dies, but struck in bronze with a plain edge. A transitional pattern for the 1864 bronze No L regular issue. Lime and rose hues visit the slightly mellowed tan-gold surfaces. Well struck and unabraded with a faint fingerprint fragment at 1 o'clock. Census: 6 in 64 Red and Brown, 10 finer (11/08).
