    Gem Proof 1863 Bronze Indian Cent

    1863 1C One Cent, Judd-299, Pollock-359, R.3, PR66 Brown NGC. An experimental piece struck from the regular dies but without the L on the ribbon. Struck in bronze with a plain edge. Medallic alignment of the dies. Richly toned with attractive aqua-blue color on the mirrored fields. Well struck and immaculately preserved, with a few raised die lines (as struck) on the portrait.(#60453)
