    Extremely Rare Copper-Nickel Judd-302
    1863 With L Indian Cent PR64

    1863 1C One Cent, Judd-302, Pollock-365, High R.7, PR64 PCGS. 69.3 gn. Identical in design to the With L 1864 bronze cent, but instead dated 1863. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. The breakdown of elements is listed on the PCGS insert as 87.4% copper, 12% nickel, and 0.6% aluminum. Exactingly struck and devoid of marks with luminous luster and a whisper of carbon. Peach and lime toning only increases the eye appeal.
