    Pattern 1863 Two Cent Piece, Judd-316

    1863 2C Two Cents, Judd-316, Pollock-381, R.6, PR 66 Red and Brown NGC. The design on both sides is the same as that adopted for business strike production in 1864. Struck in bronze or copper with a plain edge. Pleasing reflective qualities are noted in the fields as the coin rotates beneath a light, mottled orange-red and glossy-brown shades are evident at all angles. Sharply struck and smooth.
