1863 Two Cent Piece in Copper

1863 2C Two Cent Piece, Judd-305, Pollock-370, Baker-37, GW-670, R.4, PR66 Brown NGC. The obverse displays a portrait of Washington facing right. GOD AND OUR COUNTRY fills the upper border. The date is below, bookended by two stars. The reverse is similar to the issued two cent piece, except CENTS is prominently curved. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. This high-grade specimen displays ruby-red and forest-green toning. No detractions are apparent. Census: 2 in 66 Brown, 0 finer (2/25).
