Sharp Pattern 1863 Two Cent Piece, PR 64 Brown

1863 2C Two Cents, Judd-305, Pollock-370, R.4, PR 64 Brown ANACS. Washington's bust faces right on the obverse. Around him are the words GOD AND OUR COUNTRY with the date below. The reverse features a wreath of wheat surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and encompassing 2 CENTS, the word CENTS being dramatically curved. Struck in copper or bronze with a plain edge. The rich brown toning is slightly more glossy on the reverse, but both sides are undeniably original with flashy pink and blue undertones. Traces of original luster still adhere to a few of the protected areas on the reverse. A smooth, nearly Gem quality example.
