1863 GOD OUR TRUST Half, Judd-338, PR63
1863 50C Half Dollar, Judd-338, Pollock-410, R.5, PR63 PCGS. Similar to the adopted design, but the motto reads GOD OUR TRUST set on a scroll above the eagle's head. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Seven sets are believed to have been originally struck in 1863, with the remaining 18 or so pieces known being restrikes that were sold to collectors. Both sides display brightly reflective mirrors in the fields, and there is light golden and blue patina present as well.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29FR, PCGS# 60500, GSID# 12588)
