Pattern 1864 Seated Dollar With Motto

1864 $1 Dollar, Judd-396, Pollock-464, R.7, Proof, Improperly Cleaned, NCS. The obverse die is that of the regular issue 1864 Seated Dollar. The reverse is also similar to that issue, but the motto IN GOD WE TRUST is present on a scroll over the eagle. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Both sides retain considerable reflectivity despite a cleaning that has resulted in moderate hairlining. Minimally patinated with crisp striking detail.
