    Choice Proof 1864 Cent Pattern, Judd-356A

    1864 1C One Cent, Judd-356A, Pollock-427, Low R.6, PR64 Brown PCGS. CAC. While both the obverse and the reverse of this example mimic those of the 1864 No L business strike cent, this pattern was struck on bronze planchets whose thickness resembles that of the copper-nickel issues. A seamless chocolate-brown near-Gem, razor-sharp and beautifully preserved.
