Unique Judd-369, PR62
Ex: Parmelee-Brenner-Brand

1864 2C Small Motto Two Cent, Judd-369, Pollock-435, Unique, PR62 PCGS. Ex: Simpson. Similar to the proof Small Motto Two Cent Piece, but CENTS is widely curved. Within the motto, WE is die doubled. Struck in aluminum with a plain edge. This pattern is believed to be unique and is identified by the area of as-made planchet damage at 7:30 on the obverse rim and the corresponding area on the reverse. Strongly struck with bright, brilliant surfaces that maintain a trace of contrast.
