    Interesting Copper-Nickel 1864 Two Cent Pattern, Judd-371

    1864 2C Two Cents, Judd-371, Pollock-440, Low R.6, PR64 NGC. Struck from the regular coinage dies with Large Motto in copper-nickel composition with a plain edge. This interesting off-metal pattern shows scattered lilac patina interspersed with deeper, cherry-red over each side. A few scattered carbon spots account for the grade.(#60541)
