    1864 Pattern Cent, Judd-356, MS 65 NGC

1864 Indian Cent, Judd-356, Pollock-426, R.6?, PR 65 NGC. One of a small group of experimental pieces produced without the L on the ribbon, struck in 9 parts copper, 1 part tin. Plain edge. There is still much underlying light golden color and subtle reflectivity on each side with darker accents on the highpoints. A worthwhile experimental alloy striking.
