    1865 Dies Trial Dollar in Copper
    Judd-437, PR63 Brown

    1865 $1 Dollar, Judd-437, Pollock-510, R.8, PR63 Brown PCGS. The obverse and reverse feature the same die design that was used on regular issue 1865 dollars. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. About a half dozen pieces are believed to exist, according to USPatterns.com. Each side displays deep, reddish-brown color with scattered violet overtones. A few hairlines and imperfections are noted throughout.
