1865 $1 Seated Dollar, Judd-435, Pollock-508, Low R.7, PR63 Brown PCGS. Ex: Simpson. The obverse die is the same as that of the regular issue 1865 Seated dollar, while the reverse is that of the regular issue Seated dollar beginning the following year with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on a scroll over the eagle. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Examples are known in both silver and copper, with about a dozen confirmed of each.
