PR63 Red 1865 Indian Cent, Judd-403
1865 1C Indian Cent, Judd-403, Pollock-471, High R.7, PR63 Red PCGS. Snow-PT1a. Struck from regular issue Plain 5 dies, but in copper (instead of bronze) with a plain edge. Thick and thin planchet varieties are known, but the encapsulation makes it difficult to ascertain the thickness. A needle-sharp specimen with radiant orange fields, save for some mottled rose and russet patina on the left obverse. Housed in an old green label holder.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 80579, GSID# 12749)
