1865 Judd-441 Three Dollar, PR63 Brown
Copper Restrike, Vibrant, Colorful Patina

1865 $3 Three Dollar, Judd-441, Pollock-516, Low R.7, PR63 Brown PCGS. Sunrise-yellow, sage, russet, and rose combine to form a vibrant patina on this wonderful copper pattern. Abrasions are nowhere to be found, and striking weakness is nonexistent. Housed in a Generation 3.0 green label holder. The Judd-441 is a copper restrike that was made circa 1872, based on the specific obverse die used in its production. The reverse die displays the date slanting upwards to the right.
