    Description

1865 3C Three Cent Nickel, Judd-411, Pollock-482, R.7, PR 64 Red and Brown. The design on both sides is similar to that used on regular issue 1865 three cent nickels except the ribbon ends are longer and merged with the lower reverse border. Struck in copper with a plain edge. This is a bright, partially reflective example with rich crimson-brown color.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29HZ, PCGS# 60592)
