    Description

1865 Three-Cent Nickel, Judd-411, Pollock-482, R.7--Cleaned--ANACS. Graded AU 50 by our staff, a similar design on both obverse and reverse to the adopted three-cent nickel issue. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Both sides have obviously been cleaned, and now show an unnatural charcoal-copper appearance. An affordable example.
