    PR64 Brown 1866 Washington Nickel, Judd-462

    1866 5C Five Cents, Judd-462, Pollock-536, Low R.7, PR64 Brown NGC. A bust of George Washington faces right, and he is surrounded by the date and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The reverse has the 5 CENTS of the denomination central on that side, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Struck in copper with a plain edge. This precisely struck chocolate-brown near-Gem has a minutely granular lower obverse and a few inconsequential reverse ticks.
