PR64 Red and Brown Judd-462
1866 Washington Five Cent
1866 5C Washington Five Cents, Judd-462, Pollock-536, Low R.7,
PR64 Red and Brown PCGS. A five cent pattern featuring George
Washington in profile, facing right, on the obverse. The date has
minute digits. The reverse has the 5 of the denomination central on
that side, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Struck in copper with a
plain edge. Lovely orange-red dominates but cedes to rose-lilac on
the central reverse. Well struck and mark-free with a solitary
small spot on the reverse rim at 9 o'clock.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 70657, Greysheet# 12849)
