Select Uncirculated 1867 Five Cents, Judd-566

1867 5C Five Cents, Judd-566, Pollock-627, Low R.6, MS63 PCGS. The obverse is similar in design to the contemporary Three Cent Nickel although in larger format due to the wider diameter. The reverse features an olive wreath bound by a ribbon, with the denomination at the center and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST from 11 to 1 o'clock. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. An unusual Mint State pattern with light nickel-gray color and hints of rose toning. Slightly weak design details are evident at the centers.
