Important 1867 Coronet Five Cents Pattern, Judd-566, Pollock-627

1867 5C Five Cents, Judd-566, Pollock-627, Low R.6, PR64 PCGS. The obverse is similar to the three cent nickel piece. Liberty is wearing a coronet inscribed LIBERTY. Around, the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and below, the date. On the reverse, the denomination 5 CENTS is enclosed within a laurel wreath, with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST above. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. Although certified as a proof, this particular specimen is reminiscent of many business strike pieces with satiny luster rather than mirrored surfaces, and slight weakness of the strike at the central obverse and reverse. In an old green label holder.
