    Chocolate-Brown 1867 Five Cents Pattern, Judd-567

1867 5C Five Cents, Judd-567, Pollock-628, R.7, PR64 Brown ANACS. The obverse features a bust of Liberty facing left, wearing a coronet, surrounded by the legend and date. Similar to the Three Cent Nickel obverse but in a larger format. The denomination is within a laurel wreath that is close to the edges on the reverse, with a tiny IN GOD WE TRUST above. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Well mirrored with deep brown and electric-blue color on each side. A pleasing and quite flashy example of this rarely seen pattern, the only specimen we have offered in at least ten years.(#60777) (PCGS# 60777)
