    XF Sharpness Proof Judd-641
    1868 Seated Dime

    1868 10C Ten Cents, Judd-641, Pollock-713, Low R.7--Damaged--NGC Details. Proof XF. The appearance similar to the issued 1868 dime, but the date is on the reverse beneath the denomination, and a large star is centered above ONE. Struck in nickel with a reeded edge from widely rotated dies. The mildly granular cream-gray and chestnut-gold surfaces display even, moderate wear. The obverse high points display slide marks and a small attempted obverse puncture is noted at 12:30.
