    Description

    1868 1C One Cent, Judd-605, Pollock-670, R.6, PR62 PCGS. A Pattern Cent with an obverse similar to the contemporary Three Cent Nickel design, and a reverse with a large Roman numeral I in the center surrounded by a wreath. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. The date is entered too high, and the second 8 is partly buried in Liberty's lower hair curls. A silver-gray specimen that has a faintly matte-like appearance.
