    1868 Liberty Five Cents, Judd-623, PR66

    1868 5C Five Cents, Judd-623, Pollock-692, Low R.6, PR66 NGC. The obverse shows the head of Liberty similar to the Three Cent Nickel, only larger. The reverse has 5 CENTS in the center encircled by a laurel wreath, and IN GOD WE TRUST at the top in very small letters. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. The obverse is lightly patinated and has a few speckles of carbon on the portrait.
