1869 Standard Silver Ten Cents, PR 65 PCGS
1869 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-709, Pollock-788, R.6, PR 65 PCGS. Standard Silver issue with only one star at the front of Liberty's head on the obverse. The reverse has 10 CENTS in the center, surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel, with STANDARD SILVER 1869 around the margin. Struck in silver with a plain edge. A bit softly struck on Liberty's haircurls, otherwise a pristine Gem that is toned in mottled shades of deep blue and purple.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 29RP, PCGS# 60934, GSID# 13259)
