Description
1869 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-721, Pollock-802, R.5, PR45 ANACS. The obverse features a bust of Liberty wearing a cap ornamented with three stars, facing right, the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounds the figure, and a scroll with IN GOD WE TRUST is below. The reverse depicts 25 CENTS centered in a wreath of oak and laurel leaves with STANDARD SILVER above and the date 1869 below. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. This is a gently worn specimen with silvery centers and hints of yellow-gold toning at the margins.
