    1869 Standard Silver Quarter, Judd-728

    1869 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-728, Pollock-809, R.6-7, PR64 PCGS. The obverse depicts a bust of Liberty facing right with the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around and IN GOD WE TRUST on a scroll below. On the reverse, the denomination 25 CENTS is centered in a wreath of oak and laurel leaves with STANDARD SILVER above and the date below. Struck in silver with a plain edge. This near-Gem specimen is well toned in gunmetal, magenta, and teal-blue shades.
