Richly Toned 1869 Standard Silver Quarter, Judd-733

1869 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-733, Pollock-814, R.5-6, PR63 PCGS. Standard Silver design with the bust of Liberty facing right, wearing a headband with LIBERTY inscribed upon it. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA surrounds most of the obverse margin with the motto set on a scroll below the bust of Liberty. On the reverse, 25 CENTS is surrounded by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, and around the periphery is STANDARD SILVER 1869. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Unquestionably original, both sides exhibit lavender-gray toning that deepens in select areas around the devices. A sharply struck Choice representative with no mentionable blemishes.
    From the Lynch Collection. (NGC ID# 29SH, PCGS# 60960)
