    Pattern (Judd-751) 1869 Standard Silver Half Dollar Struck in Copper

    1869 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-751, Pollock-834, R.7, PR64 Brown PCGS. Standard Silver design with a bust of Liberty facing right on the obverse and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on a scroll below. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is around the periphery. The reverse displays the denomination 50 CENTS within a wreath of oak and laurel. STANDARD SILVER is at the top, the date 1869 is below. Struck in copper with a plain edge. This is a mostly glossy-brown coin with bright, multicolored undertones and surfaces that are free of outwardly distracting blemishes.
