    Judd-742, Struck in Silver

    1869 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-742, Pollock-823, R.5, PR64 Cameo PCGS Secure. Ex: Stonewall Collection. A bust of Liberty faces right with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around and a scroll with IN GOD WE TRUST below. Liberty wears a cap ornamented with two large stars. The reverse has 50 CENTS centered within a wreath of oak and laurel leaves with STANDARD SILVER above and the date 1869 below. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Struck from moderately rotated dies. Nicely struck and flashy with only a hint of golden-gray toning.
