Appealing PR64 Cameo Judd-755
1869 Standard Silver Half
1869 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-755, Pollock-839,
High R.6, PR64 Cameo PCGS. Standard Silver design for the half
dollar with Liberty wearing a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY on the
obverse. The ribbon is ornamented with a star, the legend UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA is around the periphery, and the motto IN GOD WE
TRUST is on a scroll below. On the reverse, the denomination 50
CENTS is positioned within a wreath of oak and laurel. STANDARD
SILVER is above, the date, 1869, is below. Struck in silver with a
plain edge. This brilliant near-Gem has good white-on-black
contrast, and is well struck save for slight incompleteness on the
