1869 25C J-722 PR63 Uncertified. 1869 Standard Silver Quarter, Judd-722, Pollock-803, R.6, PR63 Rim Filed, Obverse Scratches. Standard Silver pattern with a depiction of Liberty facing right on the obverse wearing a cap ornamented with three stars. The center of the reverse reads 25 CENTS and is surrounded by an oak and laurel wreath with STANDARD SILVER above and the date below. Struck in silver with a plain edge. Mostly brilliant with very deeply mirrored fields. The grade is held back by a series of scratches on Liberty's cap, and the obverse rim has been noticeably filed. An affordable example of this popular pattern.
