1870 $1 Standard Silver Dollar, Judd-997, Pollock-1128, Low R.7, PR64 Cameo NGC. Liberty is seated left with 13 stars arranged around the periphery and the date 1870 below. Liberty's left hand holds an olive branch, and her right hand supports a shield over which is draped a scroll inscribed LIBERTY. A free-standing Liberty pole is behind. On the reverse, the denomination 1 DOLLAR is centered within a wreath of corn and cotton. The word STANDARD is at the top. Struck in silver with a plain edge. Well struck and flashy with untoned centers and moderate autumn-gold, violet, and electric-blue across the margins.
