    1870 Standard Silver Dime in Copper
    Judd-839, PR64 Brown

    1870 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-839, Pollock-930, High R.7, PR64 Brown NGC. On the obverse, a Liberty Head with cap and three stars is in the center, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around and IN GOD WE TRUST on a scroll below. The reverse shows 10 / CENTS / 1870 inside an open agricultural wreath with STANDARD along the upper border. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This near-Gem proof is strikingly toned with skeins of copper-gold streaking through the deep blue-brown surfaces.
