1870 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-849, Pollock-956, R.5, PR65 NGC. CAC. This Standard Silver design shows a bust of Liberty facing right with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA above and IN GOD WE TRUST below. The reverse has 10 CENTS and the date in the center, surrounded by a wreath of cotton and corn with STANDARD above. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. The fields exhibit rich peach-gold toning. The borders are ocean-blue. Hints of lavender-red also emerge. The strike is sharp and no grade-limiting detractions are apparent. Struck from rotated dies.
