    1870 25C Quarter Dollar, Judd-884, Pollock-982, High R.6, PR66 Brown NGC. Liberty is seated left, and supports a shield with her right hand. Her left hand holds an olive branch. The obverse border has 13 stars, and the date is in the exergue. A free-standing Liberty pole is in the background. The reverse is from a regular-issue Liberty Seated quarter dollar die. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Mixed medium brown and steel-blue hues color flashy proof surfaces. Top-quality preservation and eye appeal. One of about 12 examples known.
