1870 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-920, Pollock-1024, High R.7, PR64 Brown PCGS. Liberty faces right and wears a headband. IN GOD WE TRUST is below within a scroll, while UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is above. The reverse has STANDARD SILVER and the date respectively above and below an oak and laurel wreath, which crowds the denominational inscription 25 CENTS. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Gorgeously toned in sea-green, ruby-red, and powder-blue colors. A well struck and exquisitely preserved near-Gem in an older PCGS encapsulation. A curly lintmark on the cheek pedigrees this splendid pattern. The dies are slightly rotated counterclockwise.(#61164)
