1870 50C Half Dollar, Judd-936, Pollock-1042, High R.6, PR64 Brown NGC. The obverse displays the William Barber Seated Liberty design. Liberty's right hand rests on a shield. A tall Liberty pole rises behind with a cap on top. The reverse design is identical to its counterpart on the issued Seated half dollar. Struck in copper with a plain edge. This sharply detailed Choice proof displays medium brown surfaces with pale blue and iridescent highlights. Census: 3 in 64 Brown, 1 finer (12/25).
