1870 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-957, Pollock-1108, R.5, PR61 PCGS. A bust of Liberty faces right and is surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. She wears a headband inscribed LIBERTY, and has a large star on her forehead. IN GOD WE TRUST is below on a banner. The reverse features 50/CENTS/1870 within a wreath of cotton and corn. STANDARD is centered above the wreath. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Generally untoned with good reflectivity in the fields. The centers of each side show slight softness of detail from die opposition.(#61203)
