    1870 50C Standard Silver Half Dollar, Judd-957, Pollock-1108, R.5, PR66 PCGS. CAC. A bust of Liberty faces right and is surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. She wears a headband inscribed LIBERTY, and has a large star on her forehead. IN GOD WE TRUST is below on a banner. The reverse features 50/CENTS/1870 within a wreath of cotton and corn. STANDARD is centered above the wreath. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. Deep blue is the dominant color over each side with a reddish center on the reverse. When angled properly the bright mirrors in the fields flash strongly. (NGC ID# 26VX, PCGS# 61203)
