    Description

1871 $10 Ten Dollar, Judd-1173, Pollock-1315, R.7, PR 63 Brown NGC. The obverse and reverse designs are the same used to coin regular issue ten dollar gold pieces. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Deep reddish-brown color overall with some crimson-purple accents, a few minor hairlines are seen in the fields that limit the grade. An attractive, working dies, off-metal pattern. (NGC ID# 2A5T, PCGS# 61436)
