    Tied for Finest-Graded at NGC

    1871 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-1081, Pollock-1217, R.7, PR65 Red NGC. The Longacre Indian Princess design on the obverse is paired with a reverse that features 10 CENTS in the center, surrounded by a wreath of cotton and corn, and the word STANDARD along the top border. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. A well-struck and magnificently preserved Gem with radiant cherry-red and deeper burgundy hues mingled together on both sides. NGC has certified a mere five examples of Judd-1081. Census: 2 in 65 Red, 0 finer (4/14).
